Meditate Over Shamballa Bracelets

In the Tibetan tradition, there are certain bracelets not unlike charm bracelets that are called shamballa bracelets. These bracelets are supposed to be inspired by the meditations and traditions of Buddhist culture and Tibetan meditation practices.

There is more than meets the eye to these beautiful bracelets however. Each one is supposed to be unique in some fashion and usually have at least one bead that is different than the others.

In Hindu and Buddhist traditions Shamballa means different things. In the Buddhist tradition it means a mythical kingdom which is described in some of their religious texts. In Hinduism it means a place that provides you with peace and tranquility.

These beads are worn to remind you of this place and to help you to meditate. They come in many different shapes and colors and some are even mass produced as “Shamballa Style” bracelets instead of the real deal.

There’s really not a problem with purchasing these mass produced bracelets because, as in gift giving, with these bracelets it’s definitely the thought that counts.

If you know someone (or are someone) who could use a reminder to calm down, take a deep breath, and find some peace, this is the perfect gift.
